What are 'Custom3D Model' orders?

A 'Custom 3D Model' order is a request to create a new custom model, place it in a scene, and render it with a selection of digital materials.

 

'Custom 3D Model' Order Checklist:

All 'Custom 3D Model' orders should provide:

  • The name for the piece of furniture
  • A description of the intended use (Print, Architectural Visualisation, e-Commerce, Gaming or Film, or Live Rendering)
  • The desired realism level (either photo realistic or idealised)
  • The reference material including all of the following:
    • Detailed measurements overlaid on an image or drawing, or a CAD file
    • High resolution images of the front, sides, top, and back
    • High resolution close up images of the feet, stitching, piping, labels, and any other details
    • A high resolution image or clear description of all the non-fabric materials (woods, metals, plastics, etc...)
    • Format of reference images: .jpg, .png, or .tiff - maximum size (10 MB)
    • If no photos are available then a moodboard must be provided to show the intended look and feel of the piece of furniture
  • If renders are required:
  • A list of the digital materials to be used for rendering

 

Steps for placing a 'Custom 3D Model' order:

  1. Start by gathering all the required reference material using the Guidelines for specifying furniture
  2. After gathering the reference material complete the 'Custom 3D Model' order form
  3. Email the completed form and reference material to services@twinbru.com

What happens after I place my 'Custom 3D Model' order?

  1. After receiving your order we review it and assign one of our dedicated project managers
  2. They will then work with our team of 3D artists to create the model - if further information is required they'll contact you
  3. Once the model is complete you'll be invited to join an fTrack review to assess the model and provide your feedback or approval
  4. After approving the model our team of 3D artists will prepare it for rendering in your selection of materials - if further information is required they'll contact you
  5. Once rendered you'll be invited to a second fTrack review to assess the renders and provide your feedback or approval
  6. As a final step after your approval the renders are transferred to you via WeTransfer
