Initial email invitation
Upon receiving an fTrack review invitation, you'll be directed to a landing page resembling the example below.
It's crucial to remember that replies to the no_reply@ftrackmail.com sender won't be delivered; instead, feedback should be submitted directly on the fTrack platform.
Landing Page
When following an invitation link from fTrack, you will land on the review page similar to the example below.
Approving/rejecting assets
On the landing page, assets can be approved by using the green checkmark if they meet your standards,
or you can reject the asset if it does not match your expectations via the red cross button at the bottom panel.
Annotations panel
You can use the annotation tools to provide more specific feedback.
Use the drawing tools to mark areas of the asset needing adjustments or removal, ensuring each annotation includes a descriptive text in the feedback section.
If needed, the annotations can be removed via the ‘Clear annotations’ button.
Feedback section
Here, you can leave your comments. If satisfied with all assets, a general comment like ‘All approved’ is sufficient.
The feedback section also supports attaching images or files to your written feedback.
Assets tab
The Assets tab displays all renders in the current review.
Assets can be reordered via the ‘Assets Sorting’ functionality. For now, the ‘Alphabetical’ sorting option is the only one available. However, they can be re-ordered manually.
Assets Search
The Assets tab also allows you to Search for a specific asset by view name, SKU number, design, or any part of the render name.
Compare tool for multiple versions
If multiple versions of the asset are available, you can use the ‘Compare tool’ to visualize the changes that were made. The number of versions is indicated in brackets in the ‘Playlist/ Assets’ tab. Located at the bottom tool panel’s end, the ‘Compare button’ facilitates a side-by-side comparison of two versions of an asset by default upon clicking.
For a different perspective, try the overlay comparison option, which merges two images into a single compound, allowing for a direct overlay comparison
Media download
If the media needs to be shared, you can download the necessary asset via the ‘Download media’ button on the right corner of the bottom panel.
